Event Details
Monday, July 7: The Niantic Children's Museum brings a variety of colorful experiments for their "Crazy Science" program. This program will be held in the East Lyme Room inside the Library.
Children entering Grades 3 and 4 are welcome to join us Monday afternoons in July for free workshops! Each week, a different community organization will deliver a hands-on, interactive program on a variety of topics. Registration is required. If your student just finished Grade 4, they can choose between our workshops for Grades 3&4 and Grades 5-8. They may register for both if space allows.
These programs will be held in a room in the East Lyme Public Library or the East Lyme Community Center from 3:00-3:45pm. The specific room varies weekly. Caregivers are encouraged to stay in the Library for the duration of the program. If you anticipate dropping off your child for the program and not staying in the Library, please be sure to leave your cell phone number with the Librarian running the program in the case of an emergency. Pick up is required promptly at 3:45pm, as children under the age of 12 may not be in the Library unsupervised.
