Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center from Mystic kicks off our Free Family Fun Night Series this week with their presentation on Birds of Prey. 

The Read for Your Rights book club is a 5-session series celebrating our access to unique and explorative information and stories through America’s Libraries.

The book for this meeting is The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley.

Enjoy stories and songs at Beach Storytime with Miss Rebecca the Mermaid! Taking place at Hole-in-the-Wall Beach. Recommended for ages 2-6, but all ages are welcome!

Visit the East Lyme Public Library market tent at the Niantic Farmers Market on Methodist Street, this summer! Explore a selection of our lawn games to borrow, and learn about our expanding Library of Things!

All Aboard! Children ages 2 and up with a caregiver are invited to drop by the Children's Storytime Room to build and play with our extensive collection of wooden trains. Children must be supervised by their adults while playing in the room.

Join us on Tuesday, July 1 for Submarine Adventures, presented by the Submarine Force Museum. These half-hour storytimes feature a craft related to the story each week. For children ages 3-5 with a caregiver. 

Judy Pancoast, singer, songwriter, and recording artist, presents her energetic live music for children! This Grammy nominee crafts clever songs with infectious melodies that delight the young and the young at heart. 

Learn baby sign language with Miss Sarah at this fun, interactive storytime for babies and toddlers! Sing, play, dance and learn through stories, rhymes, puppets and songs. Best for birth to three, and older siblings are always welcome.

Wednesday, July 2: DOODLES Art Lab in Niantic will bring a selection of their materials for a free open studio creation space! This program will be held in the Storytime Room. 

Join us for an evening with Sal Basile, who will perform an amalgam of music from different eras, including the ‘50’s and ‘60’s. You’ll hear hits from Bobby Darin, Brenda Lee, The Four Tops, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and  more!

Thursday, July 3: The Niantic Children's Museum presents "Let's Get Building". Children will don construction vests, design a blueprint, then build their design with wooden Thinker Linkers.

Monday, July 7: The Niantic Children's Museum brings a variety of colorful experiments for their "Crazy Science" program. This program will be held in the East Lyme Room inside the Library.

Join us on Tuesday, July 8 to read about roller coasters and make your very own miniature roller coaster with Miss Sarah! We will read "The Pigeon Will Ride the Roller Coaster!".

Don't miss this evening of theatrical storytelling mixed with interactive science experiments by Science Heroes: Talewise!

Wednesday, July 9: The Submarine Force Museum visits the Library! We will learn how signal flags are used and create our own. This program will be in the Storytime Room.
